Detectives at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, Alagbon, Lagos have arrested Henry Nwabueze for allegedly using the AIG FCID Annex office to facilitate his unlawful activities.

It was learned that Nwabueze, a tenant occupying a flat in Thomas Estate, Ajah, since 2018, was arrested following a petition by a law firm, Lyke Agwu and Co. Law Firm on behalf of one Alphonso Oham.

โ€œDuring a court session at the Igbosere Magistrateโ€™s Court, Nwabueze, accompanied by an individual identified as Mr Francis, coerced Oham into settling the matter out of court.

โ€œIn a disconcerting turn of events, the investigation revealed that Nwabueze had orchestrated a scheme to extract funds from Oham under false pretence.

โ€œHe deceived Oham into paying N1.5 million into a certain Umar Fatima account, purportedly for some detectives at Alagbon to withdraw the case from court and an additional N2 million. This escalation prompted.
