The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Cui Jianchun, has reaffirmed China’s commitment to empowering Nigerian women through enhanced cooperation between both nations. Speaking at a recent diplomatic event in Abuja, the envoy emphasized that the China-Nigeria relationship continues to create opportunities for Nigerian women in various sectors, including trade, education, technology, and healthcare.

Ambassador Cui highlighted China’s ongoing support for women-led businesses, skills acquisition programs, and scholarships for female students seeking higher education in China. He stressed that women’s empowerment remains a crucial part of China’s development cooperation with Nigeria, in line with both countries’ shared commitment to gender equality and economic growth.
