“He Kept Our Mother’s Dead Body In The House For 3 Weeks” Kenyan Family On How Their Mother Died

It was a shocking and disturbing story that captured the attention of many on social media. A family in Kenya had stayed with a corpse for three weeks with believed that the dead mother would come back to life after prayers. Boniface Mungai, a driver and the son of the lady who was dead shared the details of what transpired in an interview with Tuko News.

Boniface explained that his mother Rosemary was asked by her brother to visit him in Nakuru. Accompanied by his father, they took her to stay with her uncle for some weeks since the two loved each other so much. After a week, they received a call from their mother who was asking for money despite leaving with more than 40,000. When they tried to contact her after one day her phone was off. Their Uncle told them that their mother’s phone had crashed. Concerned about her, they sent her 39,000 through their uncle’s phone so that she could buy another phone.

After several days of no contact, they received a call from their mother’s cousin who told them that there were allegations that someone had died in their uncle’s house. Their Mother’s cousin took a step and went to Nakuru to confirm if everything was okay. Upon arriving at the house, she realized that her cousin was dead and she immediately called them and informed them that everything was not okay with their mother.

They immediately left Kiambu to Nakuru and when they got there they found their mother’s body in a room. The uncle and his wife were praying for her to resurrect, refusing to acknowledge that she was actually dead. The family was shocked and immediately reported the matter to the police. It was discovered that the mother had died from hunger two weeks ago and was missing internal organs.

The uncle and his wife were arrested, with the wife eventually confessing to being a member of a church that believed in resurrection. The mother’s body was transferred to Kenyatta Hospital for further examination before being buried.
