Arsenal legend Paul Merson has backed the Gunners to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals over PSV.
Merson also urged manager Mikel Arteta to drop Mikel Merino from the starting lineup and play Raheem Sterling instead.
PSV will host Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash on Tuesday night.
In his Sky Sports column, Merson wrote:
โThis would have been a favorable draw for Arsenal with a full squad, but without firepower, I donโt see them dominating PSV.
โItโs now a tricky tie. Arsenal havenโt scored in their last two games, and even against Leicester, who concede easily, they only found the net in the last 10 minutes.
โI hope Mikel Arteta stops playing Mikel Merino up frontโI canโt understand it. Yes, he scored twice against Leicester, but they arenโt a strong team.
โIโd rather see Raheem Sterling play as a forward. Heโs lively, and defenders would prefer facing Merino any day. Sterling has experience in that role.
โThis will be a dangerous game. I expect Arsenal to progress, but it wonโt be as easy as it once seemed. This tie could go the distance.
