BREAKING: Tension As Miyetti Allah Members Angrily Storm Abuja Court (PHOTO)

Supporters of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore convened at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of their president, Bello Bodejo.

Bodejo was apprehended on January 23 during a raid at the Miyetti Allah’s office in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, over allegations linked to the establishment of a vigilante group.

Since his detention by the Defence Intelligence Agency, concerns have been mounting among members of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore.

In response, the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), took action on February 5 by filing an ex-parte motion seeking Bodejo’s continued remand pending the completion of ongoing investigations and his subsequent arraignment.

Initially granting an order for Bodejo’s 15-day remand, Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court later instructed the Federal Government to formally charge Bodejo within seven days.

As tensions rose and calls for transparency in Bodejo’s case intensified, no charges were filed against him by the specified deadline, prompting increased demands for his release.

Subsequently, Bodejo’s legal counsel submitted a motion advocating for his unconditional release, citing legal and humanitarian grounds for such action.

This motion is scheduled for a hearing today, representing a pivotal moment in a case that has garnered significant public and media attention.
