Meta, the body housing Facebook and Instagram reacted to the global outages of its platforms on Tuesday afternoon.
Reacting, the company said it is aware of the challenges the users are facing, saying that the problem is being resolved.
‘It posted via X, “We know some people were having trouble accessing our apps earlier. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your patience while our teams worked quickly to resolve!”
Meta spokesperson, Andy Stone apologised for the glitch saying, “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now. Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
Facebook is the world’s largest social media platform, with three billion active monthly users while Instagram has about 1.35 billion users, according to the latest data.
