The 2024 Amirul Hajj (leader of pilgrims) in Kebbi, Sa’idu Dakingari, has charged prospective pilgrims to protect Kebbi State and Nigeria’s image in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dakingari also charged them to be careful with their money as it was crucial to their well-being in the holy land.

He gave this charge on Friday while bidding farewell to the second flight of the intending pilgrims from the state at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi.

The second flight took off at about 9:00 p.m. with 430 passengers on board en route to Madina.

The plane conveyed intending pilgrims from Argungu and Dandi Local Government Areas, alongside some officials.

Amirul Hajj said, “Your attitude will determine who you are. The more positive your attitude is, the better for Nigeria.

”Therefore, try to be good ambassadors of Kebbi and Nigeria at large. Because, without money, there is no way you can perform a smooth Hajj.

“Your money is your sustenance, hence the need to be very vigilant, ensure that you properly and safely keep your money, so that you don’t become a liability to anybody in the holy land.”

The former governor of the state prayed for the pilgrims to perform an acceptable Hajj.
