In attendance at the announcement of the results were the commission’s chairman, Isiaka Olagunju (SAN); the state Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat, among others.
However, the All Progressives Congress chapter in the state, on Saturday, demanded the cancellation of the poll.
The party claimed that the election was a “sham,” warning that if allowed to proceed, it may damage the state’s reputation.
