Members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Agbo Jesu Conference Worldwide, have described the late Spiritual Head, Samuel Abidoye as a ‘leader whose footsteps have left an incredible mark on the Cherubim & Seraphim Church Worldwide’.
The church, in a statement on Thursday by the Chairman, USA/Canada C&S, Agbo Jesu Sub-Conference, Francis Okhiria, extolled the virtues of the late cleric.
Prophet Abidoye died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the age of 103 years.
The church said during turbulent times, the deceased remained firm and provided stability with his revolutionary leadership and enduring impression.
“The late Spiritual Head and Baba Aladura of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, His Grace Most Reverend Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, was not just a leader but a leader who rose from the ranks by sheer strength of character and brilliance of vision.
“In times of turmoil, when uncertainty threatened to engulf the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, His Grace, Most Reverend Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, stood tall, and he was a pillar of strength amidst the tempest.
“His contributions, such as transformative leadership, have left an indelible mark on the Cherubim & Seraphim Church Worldwide fabric.
“Today, we salute Baba Aladura Samuel Adefila Abidoye, not merely as a transformative leader but as a guiding light whose brilliance will continue to illuminate the path of progress for the generations of Cherubim & Seraphim Church Worldwide to come. Adieu, Baba Aladura Samuel Adefila Abidoye.”
