The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor, has lauded the founder of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, over the ‘NUJ Meritorious Award on Internal Security’ presented to him by the national leadership of the union.

This was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, copies of which were made available to newsmen in Warri on Saturday.

The Speaker, while commending the NUJ for the award on Tompolo, stressed that the recognition was “a call for greater sacrifices for Project Nigeria”.

Guwor noted that “it is so gratifying to be so honoured by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in recognition of Tompolo’s irrevocable commitment to peace and security in Nigeria”.

According to the Delta Speaker, the award on Tompolo is well deserved, having put in so much efforts in stabilising the security architecture across coastal regions in the country to secure the nation’s oil wealth”.

The statement partly read, “I celebrate a boss, leader and uncle, High Chief (Dr) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Alias Tompolo), over a well deserved award by the National Leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ.
