My ex-girlfriend broke, crushed my heart – Wizkid gets emotional in viral video

The renowned Afrobeats icon, Ayo Balogun, globally revered as Wizkid, caused a frenzy among fans when a video resurfaced, showing him reminiscing about a heartbreak experience.

In a retro interview with Media personality Toolz, bombarded with probing inquiries about his break-up and fervent encouragement regarding the prospect of reconciling with his ex-girlfriend.

Wizkid firmly dismissed the idea of reconciling with his ex-girlfriend during his response. Toolz, sensing his emotional reaction, questioned who initiated the breakup.

In response, the singer revealed that it was his ex-lover who ended the relationship, and left him heartbroken.

In the 2012 interview, the name of Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend wasn’t explicitly mentioned. However, the singer, who shot to stardom with his chart-topping single “Holla at Your Boy” in 2010, was romantically involved with Sophia Alakija, who notably appeared as a vixen in the music video for his debut hit.

Since then, the music sensation has embarked on a whirlwind of relationships, including with his first baby mama, Sola Ogudu, and his second baby mama, Binta Diamond.

He also had a high-profile romance with actress Tania Omotayo, and has been the subject of numerous rumors linking him to other famous female celebrities.

Currently, the Starboy crooner is romantically involved with his manager, Jada P, with whom he shares two children.

The loss of his mother last year deeply impacted Wizkid, as she held a special place in his heart. Since her passing, the music star has struggled to overcome the profound grief he feels.

Recently, he disclosed his intention to release an album dedicated to her memory, a testament to the enduring bond they shared.
